Correction



*    Introduction
 
In the October 1996 issue of Hypertension, there was an error in the conversion of units in the article by Ergul et al.1 The plasma concentration of endothelin-1 was stated throughout the text and figures as nmol/L; this should have been pmol/L. The difference has no effect on the conclusions of the article. The authors regret the error.
