Correction

In the preparation of the article by V. Palmieri et al (Hypertension. 1999;34:1032–1040), the equation to predict LV mass inadvertently contained an error. The correct equation is as follows: Predicted LV mass=(-18.1xgender)+(0.64xstroke work)+(6.63xheight^2.7)+55.37. Gender is coded as men=1 and women=2.
