Correction

	Introduction

 
In preparation of the article by L. Mazzolai et al (Hypertension. 2000;35:985–991), a sentence was inadvertently omitted. On page 989, the third sentence in the paragraph directly following the heading "RAS Blockade by ACE Inhibition" should read: "In the younger (lighter) mice of the prevention study, plasma Ang II levels were decreased by 81% in TG and by 77% in controls, and plasma Ang I was increased 3-fold."
