The focus of this scientific conference is the intersection between growth and death processes in the healthy and diseased heart. Topics of discussion will include differentiation of cardiac cells, cardiac hypertrophy, regulators of ischemic myocardial damage, preconditioning, heart failure, apoptosis and its relationship to disease processes, myocardial regeneration, and stem cells.
