Cardiovascular Risk Management After a Hypertensive Disorder of Pregnancy
Women with a history of a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy have an increased risk of later cardiovascular disease. Although this review offers opportunities for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in young women, there seems to be no guidelines or consensus on how to screen or treat these women. This review identifies current barriers and opportunities for cardiovascular risk management after a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy and suggests a practical approach for risk management.
